About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and camera-confident Social Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team.

In this role, you will be involved in the full content creation process — from brainstorming ideas and writing scripts to filming, editing, publishing, and analysing performance across social media platforms.

You will have the opportunity to work on real-world marketing projects, contribute creative ideas, appear in short-form videos, and help grow our brand presence across platforms such as Xiaohongshu (RED), TikTok, Instagram, and Douyin.

We welcome candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. A Marketing degree is not essential. If you have strong content creation skills, relevant practical experience, or knowledge of AI-generated content (AIGC), financial markets, or trading, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with copywriting and content creation for social media posts.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera and participating in short-form videos, including lifestyle content, office vlogs, and creative promotional videos.
• Support the planning, scripting, filming, editing, and production of short-form videos (typically 15–60 seconds).
• Publish and manage content across social media platforms while helping optimise content publishing workflows.
• Monitor and analyse content performance, including views, likes, shares, comments, and other engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct competitor research and assist with content strategy and positioning.
• Support brand marketing initiatives, personal branding (IP) projects, and online promotional campaigns.

What We're Looking For

• A proactive attitude with strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and participating in short-form video content.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms such as TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RED), Douyin, and other short-video platforms, with an understanding of content trends and platform algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one video editing tool, such as CapCut, Jianying (剪映), Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging captions, copy, and video titles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications — Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Background in Marketing, Media, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
• Previous hands‑on experience in social media management, content creation, video production, or digital marketing, regardless of academic background.
• Familiarity with AIGC tools, such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Coze, or other AI-powered creative tools.
• Understanding of financial markets, trading, forex, CFDs, or the fintech industry.
• Experience creating personal branding content, UGC, or influencer marketing campaigns.
• Confidence in on-camera presentation, interviewing, or hosting short-form video content.
