Job summary

MARVELL LANE is seeking a creative social media marketer to own day-to-day content across Instagram, TikTok and EDM. Based in Byron Bay, you'll work with a small team to grow the brand online and engage the busty fashion community.

You'll plan and execute content, write captions in MARVELL LANE's voice, coordinate influencers, shoot behind-the-scenes footage, and help with email marketing and site merchandising under guidance from the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in marketing, social media or content creation.
• Experience in e-commerce or fashion is a bonus.
• Ability to create and edit TikTok/Instagram Reels.
• Excellent copywriting to match brand voice.

MARVELL LANE (@marvell_lane) is a boutique Australian label that designs and sells lingerie, swimwear, and clothing for busty ladies.

Based in beautiful Byron Bay, we are a small, energetic team whose mission is to create beautiful, fashion-forward garments for the busty community.

What the job is:

We're looking for a multi-talented creative to join our marketing team to own the day-to-day execution of our social media channels. From capturing content with the team to creating engaging ways to bring our campaigns and brand story to life, you'll play a key role in shaping how MARVELL LANE shows up online.

MARVELL LANE's social media presence is a vital part of the brand, and this role is about so much more than simply posting content. We're looking for someone who can foster the community we've built online, help it grow, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

You'll report to our Marketing Manager, taking ownership of the day-to-day planning, creation and execution of social content. You'll also contribute to the wider marketing mix, including email marketing and website merchandising, with direction from our Communications Manager.

This is a hands-on role where no two days will look exactly the same. You'll be an important part of a small, collaborative team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on how MARVELL LANE shows up and connects with our community.

Work type:

This is a full-time position based at our Byron Bay headquarters. A hybrid week can be arranged for the right person living a bit further away - we're flexible!

What you'll actually be doing:

Working from established brand guidelines and briefs: Plan, create, edit and deliver engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and email marketing platforms

Create and manage a monthly content calendar, planning and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, and EDM channels in line with launches, sales, and brand priorities

Managing day-to-day community engagement including comments and DMs

Assisting with influencer collaborations and user-generated content coordination

Writing captions and copy aligned with MARVELL LANE's established voice and tone

Capture photo and video content, including behind-the-scenes footage at photoshoots, during sample fittings and MARVELL LANE events

Monitor social media and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results

Create compelling EDMs on Klaviyo, based on brand guidelines

Assisting with minor website upkeep and online merchandising tasks

What you'll bring on day one:

1+ years in a marketing, social media, or a content creation role (e-commerce or fashion industry experience is a bonus)

Confidence directing content both behind and in front of the camera, with a natural ability to make others feel comfortable and shine on screen

Hands-on experience creating and editing TikToks and Instagram Reels

A strong understanding of social media trends, platforms, and what makes people stop scrolling

Exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of marketing execution and content delivery

Basic graphic design skills

A great eye for fashion, visuals, and storytelling that feels natural and genuine

Excellent copywriting skills that can match MARVELL LANE's voice and tone

A proactive, "give it a go" attitude - you're comfortable testing ideas and taking initiative!
