Job summary

Oroton is seeking a strategic Social Media Manager to lead our organic social media and talent strategy across Boutique and Outlet channels. Reporting to the General Manager - Marketing, you will own the social strategy across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, manage influencer partnerships, and mentor the Social Media & Talent Executive.

• 5+ years' experience in social media, content, influencer or talent management, ideally within a premium fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategy across Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
• Strong understanding of social trends, content performance and cultural relevance.

• Own the social content calendar, aligned to campaigns, product launches and key retail moments.
• Oversee content creation and ensure all activity reflects Oroton's brand, heritage and tone of voice.
• Identify and leverage relevant cultural trends and social opportunities.
• Develop and execute Oroton's influencer and creator strategy.
• Lead talent partnerships, negotiations and budget management.
• Mentor and develop the Social Media & Talent Executive.
• Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Retail, Digital and E-Commerce teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Monitor performance across social and influencer activity and use insights to inform future strategy.

About the role

We're looking for a strategic and culturally connected Social Media Manager to lead Oroton's organic social media and talent strategy across Boutique and Outlet channels.

Reporting to the General Manager - Marketing, you'll own our social strategy across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, lead influencer and creator partnerships, manage the social and talent budget, and mentor our Social Media & Talent Executive. Working closely with Brand, PR, Digital, Retail and E-Commerce teams, you'll ensure Oroton shows up in a way that's both culturally relevant and commercially impactful.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Sydney Support Office.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in social media, content, influencer or talent management, ideally within a premium fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategy across Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
• Strong understanding of social trends, content performance and cultural relevance.
• Experience managing influencer and talent partnerships, including contract negotiation.
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a people leadership role.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and commercial acumen.
• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to work.
