Job summary

Respect Lyndoch Living is seeking a part-time Social Care Assistant to plan and run engaging activities for residents at Lyndoch Living. You will support residents through individualized and group activities, fostering dignity and connection in a supportive aged care setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience establishing and coordinating a social care or activities program.
  • Ability to apply enthusiastic and innovative approaches to social care activities.
  • Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Document social profiles of new residents and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of social care plans.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities program.
  • Maintain resources for the activities program.
  • Prepare newsletters, activity notices and other correspondence for residents and representatives.
  • Assist the General Manager in recruitment, appropriate delegation, and support for volunteers.
  • Any other task not defined but within the employee’s skills, as directed by the organisation.

We are looking for a part‑time Social Care Assistant who is flexible with their availability and able to work across a range of days to support resident activities and engagement.

You’ll deliver engaging individual, group, and community-based activities tailored to residents’ physical, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, creating meaningful moments that support dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

No two days are the same! As Social Care Assistant you will:
