Job summary

Allegro Services in Caringbah, Sydney's Sutherland Shire, is seeking an SMT Technician/Programmer to join our production team. You will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating our SMT line and AOI inspection equipment, with a focus on accuracy, reliability and hands-on ownership of the equipment.

Experience in SMT manufacturing is ideal, but a strong electronics/technical background and quick learning ability are equally valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMT electronics manufacturing or related technical field.
• Ability to learn complex equipment quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and detail orientation.
• Willingness to work in a small production team.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify SMT production programs.
• Set up and operate JUKI RS-1 pick-and-place.
• Set up and operate GKG solder paste printer.
• Operate the Asscon vapour phase reflow system.
• Program and operate Koh Young AOI system.
• Read PCB assembly docs, BOMs and component information.
• Inspect assembled PCBs and interpret AOI results.
• Troubleshoot machine and production issues.
