Job summary

RØDE is seeking a dedicated Electronics Operator to join our SMT team in a full-time role in Australia. You will operate SMT production equipment, perform through-hole soldering, and manage PCB assemblies and AOI inspection with a focus on quality.

Responsibilities include recording task times, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with maintenance and changeovers as needed. Strong attention to detail and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic components and assembly processes.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain output targets.
• Experience assembling or inspecting products under a microscope preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform through-hole soldering to IPC standards.
• Operate selective soldering and AOI equipment.
• Carry out PCBA assembly, inspection and rework to a high standard.
• Keep self-checking to minimise errors and ensure accuracy.
• Replenish components and materials; complete job changeovers smoothly.
• Record task times against Production Orders.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
• Support minor maintenance activities as required.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors and managers.
