Job summary

Frog Recruitment in Parramatta is seeking a senior SMSF lead to own a growing portfolio. You will oversee the preparation and review of SMSF financial statements, annual returns, and related documentation, while guiding clients and coordinating with offshore teams.

With CA or CPA credentials and solid SMSF experience, you will drive compliance, leverage ATO knowledge, and mentor 1-2 staff in a supportive professional services culture.

Qualifications

• Australian public practice experience focused on SMSF accounting, taxation and compliance.
• Experience leading portfolios and coordinating across teams.
• Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation and ATO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
• Review complex SMSF transactions for compliance with legislation and ATO rules.
• Coordinate portfolio workflow across internal and offshore teams.
• Oversee annual SMSF audits and resolve auditor queries.
• Act as primary SMSF contact for clients and provide guidance.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
