Job summary

people2people is seeking a leader to own an SMSF portfolio and drive service delivery across compliance, advisory services and workflow management. You will lead a small team, coordinate with offshore support, and partner with experienced accounting professionals to deliver high-quality SMSF work.

We value clear communication, strong organisation and a proactive, client-focused approach. Australian public practice experience in SMSF accounting and tax is essential, with CA or CPA qualifications

Qualifications

Australian public practice experience with SMSF accounting, taxation and compliance.
Ability to lead a specialist SMSF portfolio and a small team.
Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation, ATO requirements, audit processes and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
Review complex SMSF transactions and ensure compliance with superannuation legislation and ATO rules.
Coordinate portfolio workflow, deadlines and allocation across internal and offshore teams.
Maintain client relationships and provide practical guidance on technical matters.
Coach and train team members to grow capability and performance.
