Job summary

Clough Limited is seeking a QA/QC Inspector – SMP to join the Woodman Point Project Team in Henderson, WA. You will perform inspections per Project Quality Control Plans and ITPs, issue quality records, and help ensure construction meets specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specs, conducting site tests, reporting defects, and coordinating with engineers to implement corrective actions; ensuring traceability for the final As-Built dossier.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in SMP.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and QC procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and measuring instruments.
• Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the quality of SMP works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents for accuracy and feasibility of construction methods.
• Conduct regular site inspections and tests on workmanship to ensure safety, regulatory and quality compliance.
• Document and report quality issues, including non-compliance or defects, and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers and engineers to implement corrective actions promptly.
• Conduct planning, witness inspections and collect relevant QC records.
• Verify collection and management of documents certifying tests, controls and inspections for the final As-Built dossier.
