Chandler Macleod is partnering with a major iron ore producer to recruit two experienced SMP/Mechanical Project Supervisors for a brownfield upgrade in the Eastern Pilbara. You will supervise site execution for Train Loadout Facility replacement, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and quality across SMP and mechanical scopes.

Key requirements include 5+ years of mechanical supervision, DMIRS S26, shutdown/major project experience, and willingness to work on-site on an 8:6 roster in the Central

Qualifications

Proven mechanical supervision background with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
Shutdown / major project execution experience in mining or heavy industry.
S26 (DMIRS) qualification – mandatory.
Strong safety leadership and contractor management capability.
Ability to work on-site on an 8:6 roster in the Central Pilbara.

Responsibilities

Supervise mechanical/SMP activities across project and shutdown environments.
Lead crews and contractors to deliver works safely, efficiently and to standard.
Coordinate daily execution plans, permits, isolation/LOTO and work packs.
Monitor progress against schedule; resolve constraints and elevate risks early.
Maintain strong field leadership and safety culture aligned with site requirements.
