Job summary

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in regional Victoria to provide site supervision and coordination within Brownfield SMP Projects and Maintenance SIB (Stay in business) environment from September.

The Senior Construction Supervisor will provide supervision / assurance of multi discipline (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) activities executed by Contractors on the On-Plot Facilities to confirm that works are performed in accordance with the

Qualifications

Essential: relevant technical/trade qualification or degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Piping.
Construction White Card.
Current Driver's Licence.
10–15 years' experience in Oil and Gas facilities construction supervisory or field engineering roles.
Experience managing contractors in line with a contract.
Experience working to Australian Standards and codes.

Responsibilities

Support Site Delivery across Projects and Maintenance scopes.
Manage works to ensure safety targets (Target Zero) and environmental requirements.
Ensure quality, constructability, operability and cost targets are met.
Provide pre-construction input into constructability reviews and planning.
Possibly self-perform activities under PM direction.
Coordinate on-site activities with Wood and Contractors to optimise schedules.
Supervise Wood and contractor personnel to achieve targets.
Support development and approval of scopes of work and work method statements.
Interface with Client and other stakeholders on-site.
