Job summary

The Sutherland Hospital in Caringbah, Sydney is seeking a Senior Medical Officer Co-ordinator on a temporary part-time basis. The role focuses on recruitment, rostering and payroll support within the Clinical Support Services Unit.

Key tasks include managing NSW Health systems, maintaining accuracy under deadlines, and delivering high-quality administrative services to ensure safe, efficient operations for Senior Medical Officers and staff.

Qualifications

• Relevant administrative experience and involvement in workforce recruitment, preferably in health care.
• Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks under demanding workloads with independence and teamwork.
• Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• High level written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience using NSW Health systems for rostering, recruitment, payroll, V Money and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment, rostering, payroll and related transactional services for Senior Medical Officers.
• Evaluate and manage administrative systems and procedures to support the Clinical Support Services Unit.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, midwifery and non-clinical staff to meet rostering and recruitment needs.
• Support timely, reliable administrative processes to enable unit objectives.
