Job summary

Zeller is seeking an SMB Account Executive in Australia to build relationships with SME business owners, understand their needs, and position Zeller’s cash flow solutions. You’ll operate hands-on across the sales cycle, meeting merchants where they work and guiding them to the best-fit payments and banking tools.

You’ll join a growing fintech team, develop a scalable pipeline, and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive revenue while embracing ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Senior BDR or SMB Account Executive.
• Proven ability to exceed quarterly goals.
• Strong commercial mindset with revenue growth experience.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently or remotely.
• Genuine curiosity about people and their business.
• Experience with prospecting, buyer qualification, value demonstrations, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect small/medium businesses via outbound and inbound leads.
• Understand merchant pain points and tailor Zeller solutions.
• Manage leads and deals with good hygiene and discipline.
• Own full sales cycle: planning, cold calling, qualification, due diligence, closing.
• Translate merchant problems into effective, sellable solutions.
• Deliver engaging introductions using stories, case studies and industry news.
• Develop deals across various customer use cases and verticals.
• Stay updated on SME, fintech, payments trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Operations.
