Coastal Respiratory & Sleep Specialists on the Gold Coast is seeking a Sleep Scientist to join our expanding sleep service. You will support patients through diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders while helping operate the sleep laboratory and CPAP clinics.

Reporting alongside Sleep Physicians and a multidisciplinary team, you will perform PSG analysis, CPAP/NIV initiation, patient education, and quality assurance activities to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent healthcare qualification.
• Experience with CPAP/NIV therapy initiation and adherence review.
• Experience with ambulatory sleep study setup and PSG analysis.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Analyse PSG studies and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Provide CPAP/NIV initiation, education, and follow-up support.
• Coordinate with clinicians, nursing, and allied health teams for patients starting therapy.
• Monitor treatment compliance and effectiveness through data review and follow-up calls.
• Set up Level 2 diagnostic sleep studies with patient instruction and data checks.
• Support sleep laboratory through stock management, equipment maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records and process related transactions.
