Job summary

CPAP Direct Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our Canberra team on a 3‑month fixed‑term, full‑time contract. You will support home sleep tests, CPAP therapy products and patient education.

Ideal candidates bring experience in retail or healthcare, strong communication, and a genuine commitment to helping people achieve better sleep. Training is provided, with a Monday‑Friday schedule and alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in CPAP therapy, sleep health or healthcare is advantageous.
• Background in retail, customer service or healthcare helps.
• Strong communication and empathy for patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and support home sleep tests and diagnostic equipment.
• Assist customers with CPAP therapy, including machines, masks and accessories.
• Educate patients on sleep health and CPAP therapy within training.
• Troubleshoot CPAP equipment and answer technical queries.
• Support patients with equipment selection, fitting and ongoing therapy needs.
• Build positive relationships with customers, patients and healthcare professionals.
• Complete documentation, reporting and general administration.
• Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales support.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical and retail environment.
