Job summary

Reclink Australia is seeking a project coordinator for the Bribie Island Building Employment Pathways program. You will manage project marketing and administration, participant recruitment and retention, stakeholder engagement, scheduling and milestone reporting.

You will deliver employability skills sessions with industry partners, provide confidential tailored support to help participants identify barriers, strengths and goals, and build relationships with employers to open sustainable work

Qualifications

• Diploma level qualification or higher in HRM, Employment Services or Community Services, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to run small group sessions.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with diverse communities.
• Digital literacy across MS Office, data management and social media.

Reclink Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to provide and promote sports, arts and employment pathways for people experiencing disadvantage. We target some of the most vulnerable and isolated communities, including people experiencing significant mental health challenges, disability, homelessness, substance abuse, culturally andlinguistically diverse communities, correctional services and economic hardship. With over 500 member organisations nationally, we currently provide over 200,000 participant opportunities throughout Australia annually.Reclink Australia believes in the power of opening doors to employment for vulnerable people to help transform lives and break the cycle of disadvantage. In Queensland, Reclink Australia delivers Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) projects funded by the State Government, across Logan and Caboolture. We have just received funding to implement our first Bribie Island SQW program.

About the Role.

Working closely with Reclink staff and project partners such as City of Moreton Bay Council, local Sporting Clubs and community groups. You will take the lead in project managing all aspects of the Bribie Island ‘Building Employment Pathways’ program including project marketing and administration, participant recruitment and retention, stakeholder engagement, scheduling, reporting and milestone events. In collaboration with industry presenters, you will facilitate employability skills sessions in small groups to open doors to employment for participants. You will provide confidential tailored support to guide participants to identify their barriers, strengths, and goals towards their unique employment pathway. You will be a natural communicator, able to engage in a professional and culturally sensitive way with a diverse group of people. You will establish and nurture relationships with employers to identify skills and direct employment opportunities for participants to gain sustainable work. No two days in this role will be the same so you will thrive on variety, multi-tasking and thinking on your feet.

About You.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• diploma level qualifications or higher in Human Resource Management, Employment Services, Community Services,or have an equivalent level of relevant industry experienceproviding employment pathways support to diverse individuals and groups.
• high level written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to facilitate small group sessions delivering non accredited employability skills training.
• excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively withpeople from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• digital literacy using a range of software programs including Microsoft Office, data management and social media platforms.
• exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• ability to work independently and respectfully with others.
• a passion for grass roots community work and the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.

You will stand out if you have:

• existing connections to communities & industry in the employment sector across the local region.
• facilitation skills with demonstrated experience delivering adult learning sessions to improve employability skills.
• prior experience within a SQW project.
• certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

This is a part-time role (19 hours per week) with the flexibility to work over 3 days. Maximum term appointment starting on October 6th 2026 until September 10th 2027 with the possibility of extension dependent on funding. A competitive remuneration will be paid at SCHaDS Level 4.1 plus superannuation with the option to increase your income through salary packaging.
