Job summary

GemLife QA Build division is seeking an experienced Plant Operator/Labourer for our Burnett Heads resort just out of Bundaberg. This brand new site promises ongoing local work with a pathway to permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

You will operate Excavators, Skid Steers and other plant on site, work safely with the team and independently as required, and support general labour tasks to keep the project on schedule and quality on point. We value reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Excavator and Skid Steer on construction sites.
• Licence: Telehandler or C6 Crane advantageous.
• Reliable team member and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and safety focus.
• General knowledge of construction industry and environmental standards.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Construction Industry Card (White Card).
• Willing to labour as required.

QA Build Residential & Commercial division are looking for an experienced Plant Operator/Labourer for our Burnett Heads resort just out of Bundaberg. There's plenty of work ahead as this is a brand new site and many more in the pipeline! Whilst this starts off as a casual position, there are permanent opportunities for the successful candidate and no shortage of work.

What we're looking for:

• Previous operating experience in an Excavator & Skid Steer
• Telehandler or C6 Crane licence advantageous
• A reliable and trustworthy team member with the ability to work well with others, but also independently
• Have excellent communication skills and safety conscious
• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
• Happy to help out and Labour as required
