Job summary

Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Cook at the Blacktown Exercise and Technology Hub (BEST) in New South Wales. The role focuses on preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while supporting kitchen operations.

You will follow recipes, maintain presentation standards, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. Training and flexible shifts are available for enthusiastic applicants.

Qualifications

• Solid background in kitchen operations and previous Cook experience is required.
• Minimum Level 3 Commercial Cookery qualification or currently undertaking.
• Willingness to learn under guidance from senior chefs and team.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes for menu preparation and maintain cooking guidelines.
• Execute food preparation tasks with emphasis on presentation and consistency.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
• Ensure WHS compliance and food safety standards across service.
• Conduct temperature and quality checks; manage cross-contamination risks.
