Job summary

Delaware North Australia & New Zealand is hiring a casual Kitchen Attendant for the Blacktown Exercise and Technology Hub (BEST) in New South Wales. You will help maintain a clean, orderly kitchen, support high hygiene standards, and assist in food preparation with basic cooking skills.

You may obtain a Food Safety Certificate during onboarding; prior Kitchen Hand experience is a plus, and shifts include mornings, days, nights, and weekends. Join a global hospitality team and grow with us.

Qualifications

Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one during onboarding.
Strong communication skills.
Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible with shifts, including mornings, days and nights, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare food in a commercial kitchen, ensuring it’s presented beautifully.
Keep the kitchen area clean and maintain high hygiene standards.
Follow WHS guidelines, manage Food Safety, and conduct temperature and quality checks.
Assist kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and waste management.
