Job summary

Growth Form Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Carpenter to support formwork, steelfixing and concreting for residential and commercial projects in Sydney, NSW. You will read plans, measure and cut timber, erect frames and install formwork systems for slabs, beams and walls.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Carpentry and have at least 12 months of relevant site experience, with a focus on safety and collaboration with builders and engineers.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent required.
• At least 12 months' relevant site experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Experience constructing formwork and timber frames.
• Strong commitment to safety on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Measure, mark and cut timber and other materials.
• Construct and install timber frameworks and formwork systems.
• Set out and assemble floor joists and structural components.
• Maintain accuracy and alignment during installation.
• Coordinate activities with builders and engineers.
• Follow safety procedures and keep tools and work areas tidy.
