Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a hands-on WHSE Business Partner for a site-based role in Greater Western Sydney. The position offers a salary of AU$135,000–AU$150,000 plus super, with strong emphasis on safety, compliance and continuous improvement across a large industrial operation.

You will partner with site leadership to drive health, safety, environment and quality initiatives, deliver governance, audits and reporting, and foster a positive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Strong reporting, documentation and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Hands-on WHSE practice across site operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continually improve WHSE policies, procedures and management systems.
• Maintain ISO-aligned management systems and support ongoing accreditation requirements.
• Provide practical WHSE advice and guidance to site leadership and operational teams.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Monitor compliance with WHS and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Manage WHSE reporting, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Support the development and delivery of site-specific WHSE initiatives and improvement plans.
• Promote engagement, accountability and a positive safety culture across the operation.
