Job summary

BHP at Peak Downs Mine in Australia is seeking a Site Systems Specialist for a fixed-term maternity leave of approximately 12 to 13 months, on a Monday to Friday roster. The role focuses on supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations and includes knowledge transfer across site teams.

You will develop, maintain and govern SHMS requirements, provide technical support for Mine Record and Document Management systems, and deliver training programs while fostering strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Document Management Processes.
• Experience in Risk Management processes and governance of Safety Health Management Systems.
• Understanding of Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act, Regulations and other applicable legislation.
• Ability to balance business needs with practical solutions.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and govern requirements for the site's SHMS.
• Provide technical support in Mine Record and Document Management systems.
• Facilitate Risk Assessments and support SHMS document development.
• Assist Risk and Control Owners to align with Global Standards.
• Design and deliver training programs using various instructional techniques.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
