Job summary

Dematic in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join the Project Delivery team on a fixed term 18‑month contract in Tarneit. You will coordinate installation, commissioning and on‑site engineering activities to deliver safe, on‑time projects within budget.

Work with internal teams, contractors and clients to bring complex warehouse automation systems into production, ensuring high quality and compliance with WHSE requirements while leading a small on‑site crew.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background is required or advantageous.
• Thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements and safe work practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel interstate and overseas (APAC region) when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations on site.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and on-site engineering activities.
• Liaise with clients, direct builders and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Promote safety, risk management and environmental best practices on site.
• Manage subcontractors and on-site resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Supervise inspections and commissioning activities and ensure quality standards are met.
