Job summary

The Bourne Group Australia Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee residential projects including new builds, knockdown rebuilds, duplexes, renovations and extensions.

You will coordinate trades, manage schedules, ensure quality and safety, and liaise with clients to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards. A trade background or Builder's Licence is highly regarded, with White Card and a valid driver’s licence essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor in residential construction.
• Experience across new builds, knockdown rebuilds, renovations and extensions.
• Experience running multiple sites at once.
• Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all trades on residential projects.
• Scheduling trades, deliveries and maintaining programs.
• Quality checks and defect management through to handover.
• Organising inspections with certifiers and engineers.
• Managing site safety, WHS compliance, inductions and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all trades across new builds, knockdown rebuilds, duplexes, renovations and extensions
• Scheduling trades and deliveries, and keeping programs on track
• Running quality checks at every stage and managing defects through to handover
• Booking and attending certifier and engineer inspections
• Managing site safety and WHS compliance, including inductions, SWMS and site audits
• Keeping site diaries, photos and progress reports up to date
• Collecting compliance certificates and sign-off documents for Occupation Certificates
• Raising variations and working with the office on purchase orders
• Communicating professionally with clients during site visits and walk-throughs

About you

• At least 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor in residential construction
• Proven experience across new builds, knockdown rebuilds, renovations and extensions
• Experience running multiple sites at once
• Strong knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and the inspection and certification process
• The ability to think through complex designs, spot issues before they reach site, and come up with practical solutions to present to management and clients
• Confident managing trades, with strong organisation and problem-solving skills
• Professional, client-focused communication
• Comfortable with digital tools such as job management apps, email and shared drives
• Current White Card and full driver's licence
• A trade background, Certificate IV in Building and Construction or Builder's Licence is highly regarded
