Job summary

HEH Civil is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to own day-to-day civil concrete and FRP delivery across SE Queensland projects. You will plan and coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, materials and site activities to keep works on program, quality and safety standards.

You will lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and on-site inspections, reading plans and specifications, and ensure clear communication with project teams, clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising concrete construction crews on road and drainage projects.
• Strong civil construction knowledge with sound on-site decision making.
• Ability to coordinate employees, subcontractors, plant, materials and multiple work fronts.
• Fluent reading of plans, levels and specifications.
• Clear, direct communication with crews, project teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Safety-focused, productive and quality-driven.
• Willingness to travel across South East Queensland and stay away on roster as required.
• White Card and current Queensland driver's licence.
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision; Transport and Main Roads experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily site activities including labour, subcontractors, plant and deliveries.
• Lead safe delivery of concrete works for road and drainage projects.
• Monitor progress against program and flag delays early.
• Interpret plans, levels and specifications and ensure compliance on site.
• Monitor workmanship and address quality issues promptly.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers with safety, quality and productivity expectations.
• Maintain site diaries, timesheets, permits and quality records accurately and on time.
