Job summary

Workforce Extensions are partnering with a respected Victorian construction company to recruit an experienced Foreman for two kindergarten projects located in Bendigo. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded site leader who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating trades and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects up to $5M.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing project programmes.
• Strong understanding of quality, compliance and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Basic Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving project programmes and meeting critical milestones.
• Managing daily site operations and construction activities.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and trades.
• Monitoring project quality, compliance and safety standards.
• Maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
• Providing progress updates and reporting to the Construction Manager.
• Identifying site issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Participating in construction and project meetings.
• Promoting a strong safety-first culture on site.
