Job summary

SRG Global is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Specialist Facades team on a major redevelopment project in Sydney CBD. You will lead on-site façade activities, coordinate subcontractors, and drive safety and quality to align with programme.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will read drawings, manage resources, monitor progress and resolve interface issues to keep the project on track. White Card is essential and prior high-rise façade experience is preferred.

Job description

SRG Global is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Specialist Facades team on the City Tattersalls Redevelopment in Sydney CBD.

This is an opportunity to join a project that is already underway and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex façade works on one of Sydney’s most high-profile developments.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You will bring strong experience supervising façade installation on major commercial, high-rise or complex construction projects and be confident taking ownership of day-to-day site activities from the outset.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead site-based façade activities, coordinate subcontractors and resources, manage site logistics, and ensure works are delivered safely, to a high standard of quality and in line with the project programme.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervising and coordinating day-to-day façade installation activities on site.
• Leading subcontractors and site crews to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to programme.
• Coordinating labour, materials, plant, equipment and other site resources.
• Planning and coordinating façade works around other construction activities and site constraints.
• Monitoring progress and identifying potential delays, issues or interface constraints early.
• Coordinating material deliveries, site logistics and access requirements.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Monitoring installation quality and ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Driving site safety and ensuring compliance with SRG Global and client HSEQ requirements.
• Conducting and participating in site meetings, pre-starts and toolbox talks.
• Maintaining accurate site records, documentation and project reporting.
• Liaising closely with the Project Manager, client, subcontractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Supporting the project team to achieve programme, quality and productivity targets.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced façade construction professional who is comfortable working on complex projects and can make an immediate contribution.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, or similar within commercial construction.
• Experience working on high-rise, commercial or other complex construction projects.
• A proven track record coordinating subcontractors, trades, labour and site activities.
• Strong understanding of façade installation methodologies and construction sequencing.
• The ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated experience working to programme and managing competing site priorities.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A hands-on approach and the ability to identify and resolve issues on site.
• White Card (essential).
