Job summary

A W Edwards is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead a major Data Centre project in Huntingwood. The role focuses on keeping the project on programme and delivering timely, high-quality outcomes through effective subcontractor coordination.

You will ensure strong safety culture on site, manage trades, and drive project progress with clear communication to management. This long-term role suits a carpentry background with substantial site experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience as Site Supervisor on major projects.
  • Carpentry background preferred.
  • Experience with Tier 1 or 2 employers.
  • Clear communication with management and sub-contractors on site.
  • Proficient with computers and construction software.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the project to programme or improve delivery times.
  • Manage sub-contractors in an effective and collaborative manner.
  • Ensure safety with a strong OHS culture on site.
  • Deliver project on time and within budget.

The Role
  • Site Supervisor – Initially focusing on a major Data Centre project in Huntingwood
  • Keeping the project to programme or improving delivery times
  • Managing sub-contractors in an effective and collaborative manner
  • Safety is paramount – so making sure a strong culture of OHS exists within the team
The Person
  • Ideally you will come from a carpentry trade background and show a passion for the building sector.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor on major projects with good all-round civil, structures, finishes and fit-out exposure.
  • Demonstrated Tier 1 or 2 employment longevity – This is a long-term role and we are looking for people who have shown loyalty and consistency in past roles in the industry.
  • You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with management as well as with the sub-contractors on site.
  • You will be tech-savvy and have used computers to assist your day-to-day activities
  • You should have plenty of initiative and be goal-oriented keen to work as a team and have the drive to get the project done on time and to budget.
