Job summary

Jun Steel Frames & Trusses Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee light-gauge steel framing and truss installations across Sydney. You will coordinate on-site activities, review drawings, and ensure installations meet engineering specifications while delivering a high-quality result for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in light-gauge steel framing and truss installation.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and engineering details.
• Experience coordinating trades, subcontractors and site activities.
• Confident in site inspections and identifying installation issues.
• Experience with estimating, quoting and project coordination.
• Holder of a current White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
• FRAMECAD/Nexa familiarity would be highly regarded.

Jun Steel Frames & Trusses is looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Supervisor to assist with the coordination and delivery of our light-gauge steel framing commercial and residential projects across Sydney.

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in steel framing who can manage projects from initial site inspections and quoting through to installation, quality control and project completion.

Working closely with our office, factory and installation teams, you will be responsible for ensuring projects run efficiently, installations meet specifications and our customers receive a high-quality result.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage steel frame and roof truss installation projects.

Conduct pre-start site inspections and assess site readiness.

Review architectural, structural and steel framing drawings.

Prepare material/labour take-offs and order material for site.

Coordinate installation crews, deliveries and site schedules.

Attend construction sites to supervise and monitor installation works.

Carry out quality inspections and ensure installations comply with engineering drawings and specifications.

Identify and manage variations, site issues and rectification works.

Liaise directly with builders, site managers, project managers and subcontractors.

Monitor project progress, costs, timelines and installation quality.

Provide regular updates and reports to management.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has proven experience in light-gauge steel framing and truss installation.

Has a strong understanding of construction drawings and engineering details.

Has experience coordinating trades, subcontractors and site activities.

Can confidently undertake site inspections and identify installation issues.

Has experience with estimating, quoting and project coordination.

Is organised, practical and capable of working independently.

Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Holds a current White Card and driver's licence.

Experience with FRAMECAD, Nexa or similar steel framing systems would be highly regarded.
