Outdoor Fabrications Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale steel fabrication and installation projects. You will oversee engineering, drafting, procurement, fabrication, delivery and site handover, coordinating with clients and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety and on-time delivery.

Due to ongoing business development, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Steel Project Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in structural steel fabrication and installation.

You will be responsible for managing projects from initial handover through engineering, drafting, procurement, fabrication, delivery, installation and final completion.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining quality, safety, budget and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage structural steel projects from contract award through to completion and handover.

Coordinate engineering, drafting, procurement, fabrication and site installation activities.

Review structural drawings, specifications, contracts and technical documentation.

Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery schedules.

Knowledge of TfNSW specifications and project requirements.

Experience with structural steel quality assurance, welding documentation, ITPs and material traceability.

Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.

Practical background in structural steel fabrication, welding or steel erection.
