Job summary

Rokon Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day site operations on a range of civil construction projects across Melbourne. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will ensure safety, quality and timely delivery of works.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years in civil supervision, White Card and full Australian working rights, with strengths in leadership, planning and stakeholder coordination for roads, subdivisions or industrial developments.

Qualifications

• Two years plus in a civil construction supervisory role.
• Experience across roads, residential subdivisions and/or industrial developments.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Coordinate multiple work fronts and deliver outcomes under pressure.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Hold a White Card and have full Australian working rights.
• Pre-employment medical assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate labour, plant and materials to meet timelines.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure works meet specifications.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and deliverables; address issues.
• Conduct site inspections, client meetings, handovers and sign-offs.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and site records.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated Site Supervisors to join our team and play a key role in delivering successful projects across Melbourne.

About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Planning and coordinating labour, plant and materials to meet project timelines and objectives
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring all works comply with project specifications and requirements
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitoring project performance, budgets and key deliverables while proactively identifying and addressing issues
• Conducting site inspections, audits, client meetings, handovers and project sign-offs
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and site records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring;

• A minimum of two years' experience in a civil construction supervisory role
• Experience across roads, residential subdivisions and/or industrial developments
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to effectively coordinate multiple work fronts and deliver outcomes under pressure
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Hold a White Card
• Full Australian working rights
