Job summary

ModnPods, a division of McNab Group, is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Gold Coast manufacturing facility. You will lead the site team, manage subcontractors, and coordinate logistics for modular project delivery across Australia, with travel to various installation sites as required.

You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance, leveraging your strong communication, planning and supervision skills to drive successful builds for multi-dwelling, staff accommodation, and tourism

Qualifications

• White Card and driver's licence required.
• Proven site supervision experience.
• Knowledge of construction/installation industry and codes beneficial.
• Experience with cranes and rigging is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to drive outcomes.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word)

About the role

As a Site Supervisor, you'll play an important role in leading the logistics, installation and setup of our high-quality modular solutions on site. This role will see you enjoy our modern factory facilities as you plan and design the logistics for delivery of modular projects across Australia and also provide you with the ability to travel to a variety of destinations for installation. Your ability to manage the program, quality and budget on site, will see you involved in installations across low and mid-rise dwellings, staff accommodation, build-to-rent projects, tourism and leisure parks, motels, hotels and aged care developments. Day to Day

• Lead the site team and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSEQ systems, SWMS, site procedures and legislative requirements.
• Oversee project planning, programming and short-range lookaheads to keep the critical path moving.
• Manage quality outcomes, including ITPs, defect close-out and quality always approach throughout installation.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and plant to drive outcomes and solve problems proactively whilst on site, with a no returns to site approach for delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and the broader project team to achieve successful project outcomes.

About you

• Construction White Card and driver's licence
• Strong site supervision experience and are confident supervising teams and subcontractors
• Solid knowledge of the construction or installation industry, inc. building codes and associated legislation would be beneficial
• Understanding of structural steel, cranes and rigging, and can manage high-risk activities confidently.
• Clear communicator with strong negotiation, influence and interpersonal skills, to drive outcomes and meet production deadlines
• Organised, commercially aware and comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
