Job summary

Stoddart Group is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead the Roofing Division in Canberra. You’ll coordinate and supervise roof installations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project.

The role suits hands-on roofer or plumber with leadership potential, offering a stable full-time position and real ownership over daily site outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven roofing experience (metal roofing, fascia, guttering).
• Leadership experience or readiness to supervise on-site teams.
• White Card (General Construction Induction) or ability to obtain.
• High attention to detail and safety.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support roofers and subcontractors on-site.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections and measurements.
• Coordinate and manage work schedules and deliveries.
• Ensure safety and workmanship standards are met on site.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide guidance to teams.
• Maintain site documentation and reporting as required.

We’re on the lookout for a Site Supervisor to join our expanding Roofing Division. If you’re an experienced roofer or plumber looking to lead a great team and help deliver quality work you can be proud of, this role could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Site Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person on-site, coordinating and supervising installations in Canberra to ensure they run safely, smoothly, and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and support roofers and subcontractors on-site
• Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections
• Perform site measures and manage work schedules
• Ensure high standards of safety and workmanship
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site
• Provide technical advice and guidance to teams
• Manage job documentation and reporting via system apps
