Shaw HR Services client is seeking an experienced site supervisor or site manager to take ownership of multiple turnkey residential projects across Bathurst, Orange and surrounding NSW regions. You will lead on-site delivery, manage programming, coordinate trades, and drive buildability and QA processes.
You will build a reliable subcontractor network, shape delivery systems, and partner with development, design and estimating teams.

The OpportunityThis is not a standard site management role.
We are looking for a experienced operator who can take ownership of multiple residential projects while helping to build the systems, trade networks, and delivery model needed to scale the business. You will manage multiple turnkey residential builds from day one, while playing an active role in shaping how the business operates – from construction programming and buildability refinement through to trade network development and QA processes.
Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a Regional Construction Manager position, leading a team of Site Managers as the business grows. If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely leave your mark, this is it.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end delivery of multiple residential projects from site establishment through to handover.
Build and coordinate a reliable, high-performing subcontractor network across regional NSW.
Manage construction programmes, sequencing, and site logistics across multiple live sites.
Identify and resolve buildability challenges, particularly on new designs and first-time builds.
Collaborate closely with development, design, and estimating teams to improve delivery outcomes.
Contribute to the establishment of site systems, QA processes, and operational standards.
Maintain strong control over safety, quality, cost, and programme performance.
Provide on-site leadership, setting clear expectations with trades and suppliers.
Trade background (carpentry preferred) with formal building qualifications.
5+ years' experience in residential construction in a Site Supervisor or Site Manager capacity.
Experience managing multiple concurrent builds in a live environment.
Strong understanding of turnkey residential construction, ideally in regional markets.
Proven ability to build and manage subcontractor networks from the ground up.
Experience delivering new designs or first-time builds – not just repeat product.
Exposure to land development or civil interfaces highly regarded.
Strong commercial awareness – you understand cost, margin, and programme impacts.
A self-starter mentality; comfortable operating with autonomy in a growing business.
