Job summary

INTENT is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day site operations on civil and rail projects across regional NSW and beyond. You will supervise crews and subcontractors, ensure safety and program adherence, and provide teams with what they need to complete the job.

Most work is regional NSW, with regular travel and time away from home. A company vehicle is provided and living-away-from-home costs are covered, with NSW driver’s licence required.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in civil construction or rail work.
• Strong safety, quality and environmental focus.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and specifications.
• Good understanding of plant/equipment operations and productions.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Scheduling, delegating tasks and allocating resources to meet deadlines.
• Ensuring all work meets WHS standards, PPE requirements and company procedures.
• Running pre-starts, toolbox talks and site-specific inductions.
• Reviewing subcontractor JHAs and SWMS, carrying out site inspections and managing hazards.
• Handling onsite incidents in line with incident response procedures.
• Keeping accurate site diaries, pre-start records and site reports.
• Arranging materials, equipment and hire items for site.
• Supporting senior leadership with planning and attending site management meetings.
• Building positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.

Join INTENT as a Site Supervisor and take charge of day-to-day site operations on civil and rail projects across regional NSW and afar. Reporting to the leadership team, you'll lead crews and subcontractors, keep work safe and on program, and make sure every team has what it needs to get the job done. Most work is in regional NSW, with around 80% outside the Bathurst area, so regular travel and time away from home are part of the job. Living-away-from-home costs are covered and a company vehicle is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Based within approx. 50km of Bathurst
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
• Full Australian working rights
