Job summary

Goodman Fielder is seeking an experienced Site SHE Manager to own Safety, Health & Environment across the Erskine Park and Camellia manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will influence leaders, empower frontline teams, and embed a proactive SHE culture across two critical sites.

You will lead the development of SMS/EMS, drive compliance and incident investigations, and partner with leaders to deliver meaningful improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' SHE experience in FMCG or complex manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Workers Compensation frameworks
• Experience implementing safety systems and driving compliance outcomes
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to HSE expert for site leaders and frontline teams
• Partner with the Site Leadership Team to embed a proactive, self-sustaining SHE culture
• Implement and continuously improve the GF Safety & Environmental Management Systems (SMS/EMS)
• Support our people through coaching, training, and capability uplift across key SHE elements
• Drive site compliance, emergency preparedness, and audit readiness
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up
• Deliver strong reporting, insights and analysis to drive smarter decision making
• Own site HSE planning, from training needs analysis to environmental performance improvements
• Support injury management and workers compensation processes in partnership with CARE teams
• Represent the site in national HSE forums and projects, contributing to strategic initiatives
