Job summary

Lactalis is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment leader to oversee HS&E performance across three Australian sites – Nambour, Darwin and Richlands. This role partners with site leadership to embed a proactive safety culture, strengthen risk management and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead incidents investigations, risk assessments, audits, and sustainability initiatives while delivering engaging HS&E training for leaders,

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety or Environmental Management.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and environmental compliance.
• Experience influencing leaders to drive accountability for safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based Health, Safety and Environment plans across three sites (Nambour, Darwin, Richlands).
• Partner with site leadership to embed safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide expert guidance on HS&E legislation and compliance requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and root cause analysis.
• Drive corrective actions and sustainable improvements across sites.
