Job summary

Bega Group is seeking a Safety Business Partner at the Chelsea Heights site in Melbourne. You will work closely with site leaders to foster a positive safety culture, provide trusted safety guidance, and support wellbeing initiatives across manufacturing operations.

This hands-on, relationship-driven role focuses on coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement to protect people and optimise safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate IV in Safety desired; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience partnering with leaders to improve safety and wellbeing.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical thinking with ability to identify risks and guide decisions.
• Passionate about coaching and driving safety culture improvements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to enhance safety and risk management.
• Provide coaching and guidance to promote safe behaviours and culture.
• Coordinate risk assessments, inspections, safety meetings, and training.
• Analyse safety data and trends to inform decisions and improvements.
• Lead incident investigations and develop sustainable corrective actions.
