Job summary

Bega Group in Melbourne's southeast is seeking a Safety Business Partner at the Chelsea Heights site to partner with site leaders and teams to foster a positive safety culture, provide trusted advice, and place wellbeing and safety at the heart of every decision.

This hands-on, relationship-focused role involves coaching, incident support and continuous improvement across the site, with a strong emphasis on risk assessments, training, data insights and collaboration to safeguard people and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate IV in Safety, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience partnering with site leaders to improve safety and wellbeing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and teams to identify opportunities that enhance workplace safety, wellbeing and risk management
• Provide practical coaching, guidance and support that encourages safe behaviours and strengthens safety culture across the site
• Facilitate risk assessments, workplace inspections, safety meetings and training initiatives that build capability and engagement
• Analyse safety data and performance trends, sharing insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement
• Lead and support incident investigations, collaborating with stakeholders to identify meaningful and sustainable solutions
