Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner to support our Supply Chain and Specialty segments in creating safer, healthier workplaces. This 18-month fixed-term role partners with leaders to manage risk and deliver safety initiatives across our network, driving positive outcomes and a proactive safety culture in a fast-paced environment.

You will influence safety strategy, provide practical guidance, and contribute to incident investigations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a Safety & Wellbeing, Health & Safety or similar partnering role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational abilities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and passion for safety and wellbeing.
• Experience in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Experience in frontline operational environments such as Frame & Truss, Supply Chain, Distribution Centres or Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to identify, manage and reduce safety and wellbeing risks.
• Provide practical guidance and support on day-to-day safety and wellbeing matters.
• Coach and develop leader capability to build a proactive safety culture.
• Support the implementation of safety and wellbeing programs, systems and initiatives.
• Contribute to incident investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure safe systems of work are embedded, monitored and aligned with the Safety & Wellbeing Management System.
