Job summary

Kinrise Snackfoods is seeking a Health & Safety Business Partner to champion a strong safety culture across our manufacturing sites, based in Dandenong South with travel to Braeside and Keysborough. You will lead safety excellence, manage workers’ compensation processes and drive environmental stewardship.

The role focuses on building safer workplaces, improving injury management, and supporting continuous HSE improvement across sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Excellence
• Drive a proactive safety culture by engaging leaders, team members and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Kinrise HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee risk and hazard management, including assessments, investigations, corrective actions and audits.
• Champion Health & Injury Management
• Oversee occupational health, wellness and hygiene programs.
• Manage end‑to‑end workers' compensation claims and early intervention processes.
• Act as the key liaison between injured workers, treatment providers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Environmental Stewardship
• Manage site environmental compliance, including EPA licences and trade waste requirements.
• Drive Continuous Improvement
• Lead local HSE improvement programs, including Never Walk By initiatives.
• Enhance return‑to‑work outcomes and support OES maturity across HSE modules.
• Be a Key Functional Area Specialist in Safety
• Contribute to decision‑making on key operational issues.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect sensitive business information.
