Job summary

Marinus Link Pty is seeking a Site Project Manager – Land Cable Civils to lead the LCC package for a 90 km underground cable route in Gippsland. You will oversee on-site delivery with the Construction Manager, coordinating with contractors, landowners and internal teams to ensure timely, safe and commercially sound outcomes.

You’ll drive project plans, budgets and risk management, maintain governance, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction phase of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Civil construction background with progression into project management responsibilities.
• Engineering degree or related discipline; PM cert desirable.
• Practical contract management experience, including D&C contracts.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in LCC delivery, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Act as on-site representative coordinating with client, contractor, landowners and authorities.
• Manage project plans, budgets, risk registers and interfaces across the lifecycle.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with methodologies.
• Assess progress claims, variations, and contract administration.
• Maintain document control and governance compliance.
• Champion health, safety, and sustainability requirements on-site.
• Coordinate QA, environmental compliance, inspections, and site audits.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and weekly/monthly progress reporting.
