Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Site Project Engineer to support the Hazelwood Converter Station package within the Marinus Link project in Victoria. You will work with the Site Project Manager and Construction Manager, delivering site activities, coordinating contractors, reviewing documentation and ensuring safety and quality.

Location in Latrobe Valley, Victoria, with opportunity to influence major energy infrastructure delivery and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across engineering, delivery

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the construction phase of major infrastructure, energy, industrial or multidisciplinary projects.
• Background in site delivery, contractor surveillance, project coordination and interface management within a construction environment.
• Experience across disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or building services.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of assigned construction work packages, coordinating site activities, schedules, risks and contractor interfaces.
• Monitor contractor performance and compliance with project procedures, drawings, specifications and site requirements.
• Assist with the management of project documentation including RFIs, site records, risk registers, quality records and contractor submissions.
• Participate in site inspections, audits, safety walks and quality assurance activities to support safe and compliant project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical input, observations and recommendations to support project decision-making.
• Collaborate with contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders to manage interfaces, resolve issues and support successful project outcomes.
