Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Site Project Engineer for the Marinus Link Heybridge site in North-West Tasmania. You will support the delivery of the Heybridge Converter Station package, providing technical coordination and field delivery support to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to project requirements.

Working with the Site Project Manager, Construction Manager and contractors, you will contribute to site surveillance, interface management, reporting and risk control while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the construction phase of major infrastructure projects.
• Background in project delivery, site coordination or interface management.
• Experience across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, building services or related infrastructure sectors.
• Strong safety, quality and environmental awareness with site audits.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across contractors and teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of site work packages and coordinate interfaces and priorities.
• Monitor contractor performance against methods, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Assist management of project documentation including RFIs and risk registers.
• Participate in site inspections, audits and quality assurance activities.
• Provide site observations and reporting to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve issues.
