Shadforth Civil Contractors in Queensland is seeking a Site/Project Engineer to coordinate daily construction activities on two major civil projects in Bargara and Burnett Heads. You will work with Supervisors, subcontractors and clients to keep programs on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and assist with project delivery.
• Prepare and manage short-term programs, ITPs, QA documentation and project reporting.
• Monitor costs, quantities and progress against budget and program.
• Procure materials and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with client liaison and attend project meetings.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues on site.

Join our team and play a key role in delivering two exciting civil projects in Bargara and Burnett Heads, valued between $2–10 million. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams, you'll help drive the successful delivery of these projects while gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of civil construction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of Shadforth's continued growth in the Bundaberg region, contributing to our first projects in the area while building a long-term career with one of Queensland's leading civil contractors.

About the Role As a Site/Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day project activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll work closely with Supervisors, subcontractors and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and assist with project delivery.
• Prepare and manage short-term programs, ITPs, QA documentation and project reporting.

About You

• Previous experience delivering civil infrastructure or subdivision projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies.

• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
