Job summary

A leading energy firm is seeking a Site Lead for the Merredin Solar Farm. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in solar plant performance. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in solar or renewable energy, along with an Electrician License. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. The role also requires managing the site budget and coordinating with the O&M Manager to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• Electrician License holder, preferably on a contractor's license.
• HV switching qualifications and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in solar or renewable energy.
• Knowledge of solar plant operations, including electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Merredin Solar Farm.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the solar farm.
• Manage the site budget and report any issues impacting budget commitments.
• Promote safety and implement risk control strategies.
• Ensure all work is accounted for and invoicing is managed promptly.
