Job summary

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a respected South Australian developer-builder to appoint an experienced Site Manager responsible for delivering architecturally designed townhouse developments across Adelaide.

You will lead day-to-day site operations, drive programmes, manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety and timely handover, while contributing to a strong project pipeline and long-term career progression within a quality-focused business.

Qualifications

• Proven site management experience within residential construction.
• Exposure to townhouse, medium-density or multi-residential developments.
• Strong construction programming and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, safety and efficient site delivery.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain construction momentum.
• Clear communication and effective stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site operations from initial groundworks through to practical completion.
• Managing construction programmes, sequencing and project milestones.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Maintaining quality standards across all stages of construction.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety and environmental requirements.
• Conducting site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews.
• Identifying and resolving construction issues to maintain programme and quality outcomes.
• Managing defects, practical completion and project handover.
• Communicating effectively with project teams and key stakeholders throughout delivery.
