Job summary

Buildcorp is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead fit-out and refurbishment projects in Sydney. You will be on-site leader, manage subcontractors, safety, quality, schedule, and client relations to keep projects on track.

The role emphasizes collaborative leadership, proactive risk management, and delivering high standards across all disciplines. You will coordinate with stakeholders, drive compliance with regulations, and mentor site teams to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing fit-out and refurbishment construction sites.
• Qualifications in construction management, engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, including construction management and site program.
• Lead on-site team, coordinate subcontractors, and address issues at site meetings.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are included in subcontracts and followed on site.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to communicate progress and updates.
• Audit and ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate facilities, deliveries, and site services to support progress.
• Promote HSE culture and manage workplace relations effectively.
