Job summary

Worksforyou Australia is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site delivery across multiple construction projects. This hands-on role focuses on safety, organisation and productive performance on site.

You will supervise trades, manage subcontractors and work with Project Managers to deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential for team and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade background or formal construction qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar site leadership role.
• Experience with document management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise trades on site and ensure work progresses with plans and drawings.
• Review and implement ITPs with the site team and SQP.
• Review drawings, specifications and scope of works for all trades.
• Prepare programmes and ensure implementation on site.
• Coordinate with other activities on site that may impact works.
• Conduct briefing and toolbox talks on safety and environment.
• Ensure all workers are site inducted; licenses and competencies recorded.
• Manage subcontractors and assist Project Manager with finances.
• Develop and mentor junior staff daily.
