Job summary

Buildcorp is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead fit-out and refurbishment sites in Sydney, delivering projects safely, on time and to quality. You will manage site teams, coordinate stakeholders, implement health and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement, with a focus on leadership, risk management, and alignment with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience of managing fit out and refurbishment construction sites with proven success.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, including the construction management plan, program and workplace relations management plan.
• Coordinate subcontractor labour and supervision resources and recruitment.
• Be a visible leader on site walks and address non-conformances at site meetings.
• Communicate health and safety requirements to subcontractors and ensure contractual inclusion.
• Promote a culture of HSE and quality by setting clear standards and acting as a role model.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure positive project progress and timely updates.
• Ensure milestones are understood and performance feedback is provided monthly.
• Conduct audits for compliance with building regulations, safety standards and environmental requirements.
